What is Maddori?
MADDORI is an independent journal that began in Amman, Jordan, with Korean-language guides. We connect manageable market visits, practical ways to choose a meal, and basic recipes for the home kitchen.
Our starting collection covers Seoul, Tokyo, Istanbul and Amman alongside everyday cooking. Each story should help you decide what to do next without filling every moment of your day.
Who is behind it?
The operator is Yusef (Yunho), a Korean living in Jordan. We distinguish source-based introductions from firsthand experiences. The new restaurant introductions use linked official information rather than claimed personal visits or invented ratings.
Three languages, clearly presented
New travel, dining and recipe stories are available in Korean, English and Arabic. Earlier Jordan archive guides remain in Korean. AI tools assist with drafting and translation; we do not claim every translation has native-speaker review or field verification. Corrections are welcome.
Keep the planning light
Change recipe servings, collect ingredients in a shopping list and calculate a travel budget. No Maddori account is needed. These records stay in your current browser; the privacy page explains how.
